Russell has been a partner since 1986, and specialises in farm and commercial accounting. Russell also has a special interest in business valuations and a passion for commercial property. He has a strong focus on wealth creation for his clients.

Trish Foy Director (B.M.S, A.C.I.S., CA, CPP)

Trish has been a partner since 1988 and has extensive experience in taxation, farm, trust and commercial accounting. Trish is committed to advancing your business and getting the right solutions for your needs. Having lived in Huntly all her life, Trish has a strong rapport with the community and gives her time freely to many organisations. Email: trish@csca.co.nz

Laychin Tan Client Manager (BSC-hon, CA, ACCA)

Laychin joined Cowley Stanich in 2012 and has 15+ years experience in both Commercial and Business advisory services and specialises in company accounts. Email: laychin@csca.co.nz

Maree Richardson Client Manager (Adv Dip Accounting CA)

Maree has been dairy farming for over 20 years and currently owns and operates a farm with her husband just south of Te Awamutu. Maree qualified in 1989 as a chartered accountant and has been offering specialist farm accounting advice since 1985. She has an extensive understanding and wealth of knowledge in farming and business accounting, and works closely with farming clients, in both their day to day farming operations and long term plans and goals. Helen Geelen (CA)
Helen is a senior Accountant and has been with Cowley Stanich since leaving school. As a Chartered Accountant, Helen is involved in all aspects of account preparation and tax compliance. With a farming upbringing and personal business experience, Helen provides a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.
Helen has expertise in Xero as an accredited user and she is able to provide both onsite and telephone support in this area. Using the program in her husband's business she has an extensive knowledge of Apps that are available to enhance Xero and make your business run better.
Helen works part time, two days a week, balancing home and her & Mike's business with Cowley Stanich work.

Margaret Brown
Margaret is in charge of IT at Cowley Stanich and as well as ensuring all areas of technology at Cowley Stanich & Co are running smoothly, she can offer training and advice to our clients on various software and hardware questions.
As a dairy farmer herself, Margaret is a long-term user of Cashmanager Rural as well as being familiar with Xero. Margaret is also responsible for preparing financial statements and processing GST.

Andrea Jamieson
Following gaining her Bachelor of Business Studies, Andrea has almost completed her final studies towards becoming a Chartered Accountant.
Andrea has a background in dairy farming and a passion for horses with previous thoroughbred racing stable experience.
Andrea has an interest in both farming and commercial accounting and is experienced with Xero, MYOB and other popular software programs.

Naoko Johnson
Naoko recently joined us as a trainee accounting technician after finishing her Wintec Business Administration course.
Naoko has been dairy farming with her husband Russell for the last eight years and enjoys both office and farm work. She uses Figured and Xero for her farming business.
Naokohas two teenage boys and is enjoying rural life since moving to NZ from Japan in 2002.

Megan Hucker
Megan is the welcoming face of Cowley Stanich & Co Ltd, fronting our reception. As Administration Manager, Megan is responsible for handling the office day to day running.
Megan is also our wage specialist and handles all client's payrolls where we act on behalf of clients using the IMS payroll package. She is available to contact for any queries that our client employers may have.
Megan is also in charge of the client Company administration ensuring the Company Office information is updated and minute books are maintained for all companies that we are the registered office for.
Her expertise and interest in IT areas Megan is also very proficient at website and desktop publishing.

Wendy Horrox
Wendy manages our tax base, liaising with the IRD over all tax types on behalf of our clients. Her expertise has seen many IRD penalties reversed and hundreds of dollars saved for our clients.
ACC is also managed by Wendy, checking and confirming all invoices before they are sent out to clients as well as Coverplus Extra applications.
Wendy also manages the petrol rebates claims, liaising with NZTA on behalf of our registered clients. Married to local builder Bruce, Wendy understands the compliance demands put on the self employed. Wendy is familiar with Xero as she uses this for her own business. She also prepares GST returns and assists Megan in other administration areas.

Rochelle Dodd
Rochelle joined us in August 2016 coming from a banking background with some legal office experience. Rochelle is well placed in her administrative support role.
Rochelle works two days a week as she balances work, family and her joy of running. She has just completed her first marathon in a very creditable time of 4 hours and 10 minutes.
